View Full Version : New Classic patch - The English League of 1976
webwolf 03-03-2003, 01:09:AM I made this patch for my own amusement for the FIFA 2003 game. Maybe someone else is interested in it.
It is a Classic patch containing the whole English first division from 1976.
With the right home, away and goaliekits, line ups with every player (who looks in game close to what the looked like in real life), logos and flags. This is not a professionals work by no means, and some of the kits are not the greatest. But everyone is authentic though.
It's a HUGE patch (about 25 mb all in all) but I dont know how to make it smaller than it is at the moment.
If someone is interested, All of the parts (there are ten files you will need for the complete patch) are possible to download on the addresses below until the 10 of march (then I will need that space again).
http://w1.602.telia.com/~u60203725/
http://w1.602.telia.com/~u60203724/
The files you need is the only ones in there so download them all!
It is a bit tricky to put it all together but it will work
Hrvoje Bajlo 03-03-2003, 01:36:AM yeah, on FIFA Web Portal (http://fifa.gamer.hr) also is news for this gr8 patch, must have!

The teams that are in this patch from the then first division is: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Burnley, Coventry, Derby, Everton, Ipswich, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Norwich, Queens Park Rangers, Stoke, Tottenham, West Ham & Wolverhampton.
And instead of Sheffield United who ended as the last team of the 75-76 season. There is West Bromwich Albion, who was to be one of the promoted teams from the second division that year.
Also as a bonus, there is the Home Internationals containing the teams of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Where is the Nottingham Forest?
webwolf 05-03-2003, 09:30:PM Hearts FC: Yes, You will need Creation center, but just to install the patch, nothing more. The patch is based on access-editing. To install the kits, logos and flags you also need to download the Kit raptor, Logo raptor and Flag raptor made of Ariel Santarelli.
Wolf: Nottingham Forest finished 8th in the second division that season. so they are not qualified. This was before The Clough -era ;-)
An here is another screenshot from the patch from a derby between Liverpool and Everton.
Speedy_SgZ 05-03-2003, 09:31:PM Need hosting? Send it to janvanhaaren@pandora.be and we can host it @ FileFront!

webwolf 06-03-2003, 05:19:PM Haukur Gudnason: Yes, it's supposed to be Keegan ;-).
I have done everything in this patch myself, including the kits. I am no expert kitmaker though, thats why some of the kits are not that great, but I hope they will do, otherwise those who are better than me on kitmaking, maybe will adjust the kits so that they suits them better ;-)
