OK....2 weeks of playing it, i consider it the best soccer game on pc, but still there are alot of faults. EA never listens!!
First...the pitch size..bigger plz!!
The crowd animations are good...but it would be better if the crowd were seperated in two colors..or at least less colorful crowd!!
What about waving flags? EA also 4got the stewards and cameramen seen in FAPLS.
One more thing...FAPLS had a 'blurred' look, hence it looks more 'real'. FIFA2000 is too colorful. Hence abit fake.
The players look thin, becos of their large arms, compared to their body. Player sizes are still not very distinguished, unless they stand next to each other.
Now for the gameplay..as usual the shooting system remains the same, very fake. Most goals have to end up in the top corner. Change it! Use VirtuaStriker's power bar!!
Some of the goalie jumps are very fake, they seem to leap and fly.
For EA's info, a player is not able to spin 180 and get a powerful accurate shot at goal from far, much less a 360 twist and score from 25 yards! The 360 spin is very unreal!!
Scrap it, replace the other moves with simple nutmegs etc!!
Also...the 'lob' button. Make us able to lob the ball over defenses, so that strikers can chase after them!! (as in fifa97)
Make the players have diff running styles, at least 3, for example overmars style for midfielders, shearer style for strikers etc.
Include linesmen!!
The ref in 2000 is very slow to react to fouls!! They take 2 seconds to whistle.
In the customise screen, we can't see the back of the heads, we dun know if it has a ponytail etc.( but plz dun make them spin around all the time)
At the customise kit section, why is the player so small??
At the free kicks, it seems like EA doesn't want us to use custom set piece(using the arrow) The camera is not placed directly behind the player..we can't aim!!
Gosh...i'll think of more
meanwhile i welcome any replies.

Games generally get better. Fifa 2000 is the number 1 example of a “gets worse than ever” game.
 The Portuguese team gone! How could you? We have just qualified for Euro 2000, we got the organization of Euro 2004 and we currently have some of the best world football players: Figo, Rui Costa, Vitor Baia, etc...
 The goal-keeper stinks: He still does the famous 180º turn, fall and catch to grab an easy ball, he’s reaction is always the same, no mater if the team is winning or loosing (he takes too much time to launch a counter-attack or he grabs the ball when he should shoot it immediately).
 He’s moves are extremely unnatural. He grabs impossible balls, when he should send them to corner, and his reflexes are awkward.
 All the players have the same kind of behavior. There are no special characteristics that define some special ones.
 The graphics are not that good. If you take a look at Virtua Striker 2000 you will know what I’m talking about. The color skin is very unnatural, the look of the players is not that varied. It looks like you are playing in a team of twins against a team of twins! And they all have the same height.
 Some movements are unreal: the 180º spin can be done easily by any player (skilled or not), the ball is shot always to one of the corners, the bicycle kick is always legal (you can almost smash a player’s skull but, guess what: IS LEGAL).
 Honestly, the only differences I notice are one or two new movements and the crowd (by the way, where are the flags?)
If you have Fifa 99, stick to it. Forget this merchandising move!

Thanks for the replies...

one more thing...we can't direct our headers
onto the ground!(shooting)
we could in 99!!
but then the bicycle kicks always hit the ground!!
Well, what i mean is that u can't poosibly spin 360 the whole 50 metres, u'll get dizzy!!

Ehhhh, what could I say more. Probably nothing 'cause I'm playing the game just one day now. But I agree with you about these things. Only that power bar thing of VirtuaStriker doesn't say anything to me 'cause I don't know the game (sorry).

Oh read my message I posted about a Real Madrid vs Real Madrid BUG.

Yeah danilo, you are soooo right. Can't agree more- Except one thing. You say that the ref is slow on reacting on fouls..THAT IS NOT HOW IT IS!! The ref is waiting to see if he will give advantage of the ball.
If I get sacked but the ball goes to another player in my team he doesn't blow!! But if the ball goes to an opponent he blows freekick(if he has decided to do so...) THAT IS THE CASE!!

Friendly Greetings...
