Research the specifications and cost of a typical computer system of ten years ago and list them. How much did it cost then to upgrade the RAM by 64 MB?

Yash, Lior?

:o you mean that they had 64 MB ram back then :o.
Me be thinking that its a trick question ... coz i remember lookin in shops with my dad n the guys tryin to sell us top of the range 16mb computers and my father saying that 8mb will be fine coz thats still good enough for anything to run on!.

But then again maybe im wrong ... :|

yeah i don't think 64 MB was available back then...the motherboards didn't support them for sure

i had a computer that had 8 MB ram, which i upgraded to 16 MB after a while.

i can't remember how much i spent :$

yeah capacity, if you wanted to buy the other 14 megs to fullfil the capacity, you had to double the prize you paid for the ehntire computer :D :D

back in 1993 oh.. ****... it is the 386/486 era... yes there isn't any 64MB ram available.. and it is only 16pin memory slot.. can't recall whether 486 support 32pin memory slot or not.. as it has been almost 10 years already.. back in 1993 i've just upgraded my 286 (my first computer) to 386 also added another hard drive 120mb(major break through cause my previous hard drive is only 40mb) can't recall what was my memory size already i think it was 8mb.. or 4mb can't remember...
