w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0w0
damn ESPN for their crappy coverage the the CL in north america. Im going to complain to UEFA. Fox would show ALL the games they could if they had the right to show CL matches.
northstar 12-03-2003, 11:58:PM Juventus will go through unless they lose by four or more in Basel.
(H)
Vazza 12-03-2003, 11:59:PM A bit of Man U's luck seems to have rubbed off on Juve...:D Especially, Tudor scoring - 1 in a million chance!
Vazza 13-03-2003, 12:00:AM Juve WIN 3-2 with an injury time goal!!!!!!!!!!
juventusita 13-03-2003, 12:05:AM TUDOR!!!!
night 13-03-2003, 12:06:AM Is it true that depor had 62% of the posession? :|
Vazza 13-03-2003, 12:08:AM Is that true? Hmmm, I would have thought the Juve midfield would have bossed the game with players like Davids and Tacchinardi (spelt wrong prolly:D ).

good thing the players didn't give up quite as soon as you did...
great day for juve, wtf TUDOR!?!?!
night 13-03-2003, 12:12:AM Not sure about the 62% thing..
thats why am asking.. i just heard the commentator say that.. maybe i heard him wrong :$
Can't stop the rush... 13-03-2003, 12:33:AM Tudor is my hero.:crazyboy:
northstar 13-03-2003, 12:54:AM match stats are up. Click on 'club stats' in the middle of the page Depor did have much more possesion, but Juve many more shots. Depor didnt use the ball wisely.

night 13-03-2003, 01:14:AM Thats a typical example of not using posession.. i mean.. 62% is a lot :|
Usually when a 2nd division team plays a top team.. you get such posession..
-William- 13-03-2003, 02:55:AM F.ucking Tudor :f***: What a cruel way of kicking Depor out of the CL..:(

F*CK YOU ! (H)
Whata great day !!!
JTNY, im dissapointed that you gave up so early.
yet against Juve come back from a goal down to Deportivo and win !
TUDOR ! He always has this uncanny ability to come up with crucial crucial goals.
Just when i thought things were heading for a draw.....BAM !!!
Davids for me was dissapointing. Nedved gave his 100% as always. Di Vaio gives good width but gives the ball away way too often.
Depor's 1st goal shouldn't have counted..... There was a clear foul on Tacchinardi, but the referee allowed them to play on, and Juve were caught on the break....
finally the Depor Jinx is OVER.
JUVE ARE THROUGH TO THE LAST 8 (H) :rockman:
ricardo 13-03-2003, 08:25:AM I couldn't see the game :(
well, at least we'll be fresh at the last part of the season to try a shot in la liga
I hope Real Madrid and Valencia go on and be tired by that time :)
I'm glad I am wrong.:D Woops.......... although, perhaps I was the inspiration. I thought there would have to be next year, again.:D ;)
We are through, unless Basel beat us somewhere around 5-0.:D
Tudor got one back, after that backpass to RVN in the box.:)
Good stuff all round.:D
djperthglory 13-03-2003, 10:01:AM MY BELOVED JUVENTUS HAVE DONE IT THEY HAVE PAST THE "JUVE CANT MAKE IT TO THE 2ND PHASE STAGE" TUDOR U GENIUS.
I HAVE TO WAIT TILL TONIGHT TO SEE THE GOAL THOUGH. COZ MY MUM STOPPED MY VCR WHILE IT WAS TAPING THE MATCH ON ESPN. I MEAN 4 MINS AWAY FROM SEEING IT. I ONLY FOUND OUT BCOZ OF STAYING UP TO WATCH REAL AND MILAN AND THEN RUNNING TO MY COMPUTER TO SEE IF JUVE WOULD WIN ON UEFA.COM.
djperthglory 13-03-2003, 10:07:AM I JUST SAW IT ON UEFA.COM
tudddddddddddor bloody legend
IceBlu 13-03-2003, 11:06:AM  TUDOR
windtalker9 13-03-2003, 03:31:PM It was very interesting game, but i´m a bit sad, i think Depor played better game, but Juve won it. Both teams had some chances wasted. Makaay had 1 on 1 missed in first half and Trez hit the post. :o
Lippi made a good sub. Bringing in Tudor was great, but I thought after what mistake he made againts Utd, he won´t get a chance to play. But well, Juve worked hard and they deserved to qualify.
Depor should not have subsituted Tristan. :(

Definitely not.
The first half was dominated by Juve till they scored, and after that it was all Depor.
But the Second half was completely owned by Juve except for the goal Depor scored. Trezeguets goal was a bit lucky..but then again he was unlucky to hit the post. Zalayeta should have done better with his 2 chances.
Tudor has been an great asset at Juve.....and just one bad blunder doesn't make him a bad player. This is not the first time he's scored a goal like this... he's done it time and again , scoring crucial goals.

typical from a juventus fan.. but actually.. depor played better.. i cannot say that they dominated.. but they were simply better.

Typical ?
Yes Depor were much better in the first half ...BUT the second half...Hell No !
apart from the superb goal by Makaay, Depor NEVER really went close did they ? where as....Juve kept pushing forward and got close on a number of occasions - Tacchinardi shooting over the bar, Nedved doing the same , Trezeguet hitting the post , Zalayeta makig a mess of 2 good chances...and of course the final goal. thats 6 times...and Zambrotta , Davids etc kept piling on the pressure from both wings.
Depor were clearly better in the first half...not the second.

Pandiani is playing in Mallorca this year, you will be able to see him at the final of the Copa del Rey in June :)

Depor had more of the ball yet had fewer chances then Juve. Whats the point of football if you dont use the ball and score? Maybe this match can be compared the the Man U-Juve game, where Juve played better but still lost?

Can someone explain why you think Depor played better?
Anyway. I saw the replay after I taped it.
Di Vaio was making some interesting runs out on the left. He wasn't executing his passes well, yet he has a good future out there. Deportivo were "eliminating" Nedved.:p
Tudor's goal was off the left foot too.
BTW, Zambrotta needs to learn how to play in a back four. He wasn't too bad, yet the back four that has been playing recently haven't played as a unit. This whole year the back four has had injuries. Although, Zambrotta does add some pace to the defence.
