All the sections are quite big, walk no more than 10 minutes to the beach, there is a volunteer lifeguard surf patrol organisation (unfortunately, there are about 8 deaths every summer :( )... and in summer, it is a haven for topless sunbathers (H) the next beach around is more family oriented, but at this one pretty much anything goes. But there's a discipline (class, subject... my English sucks) called "Introdução ao Pensamento Teológico" (IPT), which is a bit philosophical. No, we don't need to read the bible. :) You don't need to believe in God or something to study at PUC and also tt's not hard to find some atheits there. Actually, we really have freedom at PUC. The university has got kind of "political reputation", mainly due to its actions during the dictatorship. Most of people there are leftist, but it's possible to find all kinds of people at PUC (not only about their political orientations). Main problem is the price, for sure. It's very common to have protests and debates concerning this problem inside the university.
