Am i the only one who thinks it could be cool to be able to play FIFA with players like: Maradona, Pelé, Platini, Cantona, Gazza,(before he became a wreck) George Best, Jean-Pierre Papin etc. etc.

You could then select a decade to play in, and then play a season.

I totally agree. EA's NBA and NFL games have classic teams and players of the past, so why not FIFA 2003? I would especially love to see a recreation of the New York Cosmos and the NASL of the late '70s and early '80s.

those games have better gameplay, and the fact that they only have 30 teams in the league leaves room to include more classic stuff like that

forget the classic teams.... before EA starts including more teams and what not they should fix the damn game first and create a fifa game that isn't gonna suck... I believe that should be there main priorities.... lets say fifa 2004 includes over 100 classic teams, it isnt gonna make the game any better when u can only play two games in a row before getting sick to your stomach with the scripted gameplay!! its much like playing a replay of the same game on TV over and over... I believe once the gameplay is perfected then they could start adding all the little features wich make a game more playable over time to make it a game worth buying.....
