I was just wondering if any of you people here play a musical instrument?

How long have you been playing it for?
Are you any good at playing it?

I play the keyboard, piano and guitar. I can't read music. Keyboard and Piano I just know which keys to press when for certain songs, stuff like "walking in the air", "The launch"e.t.c, tunes I know. Same with guitar, I only know tabs. I should really learn to read music.

Oh, one more thing, when I say musical instrument, I don't mean the recorder.

i play the sax, yeh i'm pretty good i've been playing for 3 and half years

um at my school in Chile it was compulsary to learn recorder :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

It was Compulsary to learn the recorder when I was in year 2. That's 5 or 6 years old.

I liked the drums, I never really got into them though. I have never had lessons, I have taught myself. There is a really cool program called guitar pro 3, that teaches you how to play and it's easy.

i play drums....abt all i know....since i cant read the score either

I used to play the piano and then keyboard and ever since watching Flea of RHCP ages ago I wanted to play bass guitar but never got round to actually doing it.

I really want to learn guitar too. It seems this new image (neo-Communist) is really gonna beggar up my chances of a job. Busking around Metro Stations may help.

I play acoustic guitar, I got it this christmass
I will get an electic one after mastering the basics

and I just signed up for 1hour/week lessons

i usually play drums whenn me and my mates go jamming,we play helloween,manowar,metallica (pre-commercial rock),pearl jam and the stuff...

best wen i played smashing pumpkins 'bullet with butterfly wings' :D

although jamming helloween songs feels like running a half marathon
