Apologies if this has been covered; I've been looking around but haven't found an answer anywhere...also, I'm pretty new to gaming (gasp!) so I might not know some of the standards involved.

How can I save a custom league/cup that's in progress? Or do I have to play all of the games (in the cup etc.) without quitting fifa99?

If the answer is "use a saved game," just how do I do that? I have a game saved, but when I load it, I just return to the main menu.

i think from main menu click on load game, then pick the game you saved and click on load game again to start.

to save just hit save game and pick a # and hit save again.

this should work, i'll double check tonight when i play again

The reply that you have already recieved is correct, you do have to click the save and load icons, twic , the second time after selecting the game slot you which to load or save, this should help, if you have any other problems you can mail me at sportgaming@xoommail.com if you want.
