OK, after considerable consideration, i've decided that the best decision for the situation surrounding the 2nd leg of the Leeds vs. GS match should be that no fans should be allowed. no fans, just an empty stadiums. ok, let's look at the options.
1) You can ban GS fans from coming. However, i strongly sense that this is just a way for Leeds to get an advantage over GS, and it's the motive of the Leeds team. (my opinion). Nevertheless, it's a good excuse, but it would be totally unfair to GS because they were not to blame for the incident.
2) You can play at a neutral venue. i think this is a good idea, but Leeds are not willing to cooperate. which is fine with GS, but UEFA isn't too kool with that idea. also, it's not fair to Leeds either, because they played the 1st leg at istanbul. but it's been done before, so why not again? stop complaining.
3) The 3rd and best (in my opinion) option is to ban ALL fans from going to the match. think about it. that way, leeds will get their home field, so they can't complain about that. also, it will show that leeds's real primary reason for not allowing Turkish fans to come is to protect them (i'm sure that's one of their reasons, plus they might be punished if their fans did anything). both sides will be evened out, because both don't have any supporters, and nobody would have an advantage over anybody. except for the fact that leeds are at home, which is what they wanted. it will be easy for the police, and everyone would be safe.
what do you think? by the way, i think uefa has decided to delay their decision until friday.
