Celtic v Boavista

Lazio v Porto

The cynics would say that Lazio and Porto will be playing the real final as whoever wins that one will be red hot favourites to win in Seville.

I think Celtic has a great team, but as usual Boavista are tiped to lose, they where against 4 before but they are still there, while H.Berlin,PSG,Malaga are OUT! dont count out Boavista too soon..

They are horrible at the moment in the Portuguese league, but they have a great european record, Liverpool knows also Dortmond lost to them. The smaller Porto club never gives up, these Boavista players have alot of heart and pride and that is why they are still in.

I hope to see a FC Porto-Boavista final in Seville, and I plan to be there live cheering my FCPorto!

I also agree that the FC Porto-Lazio game will probally be the best and the real final, but Porto's last game against PAo was probally the best game of the tournament.

I think FC Porto will draw 0-0 at Olimpico and win at Antas. But knowing Mourinho he will wantt o finish it in the first leg at Olimpico and Porto can win 1-0 there and maybe 2-0 at Antas and book the trip to Seville.

What a day for the city of Porto 2 clubs in the final 4

Bah, what bad luck we had, man. :( Damn, we had 66.666666% chances of having a favourable draw and we get a Porto-Lazio and Boavista-Celtic.

Here's what's wrong with it:

- Porto beat Celtic convincingly not that long ago. I'm sure they would beat them again, because we play a type of football that brings many difficulties to the way Celtic usually plays.
- Boavista matches up really well against Italian teams. They've beaten so many for the past 10 years... One of the last to go was... Lazio!
- A Boavista - Porto would ensure a Portuguese team in the finals.

BUT

- Celtic and Boavista are somewhat similar in style. They go more for power than technique, and you can bet they NEVER give up. However, Celtic has more talent than Boavista and will probably beat the ex-portuguese champs in their own game.

- Same thing I wrote above can be said about the 2 remaining teams; just switch Celtic for Lazio and Boavista for Porto.

Oh well, I hope I'm wrong. ;)

Celtic could surprise everyone, if they do it'd be great for the scottish game.

I don't think Celtic will win it (if they do we'll be getting our noses rubbed in it for the next 20 years). They will probably get to the final and lose there.

Dont put Celtic in the Final already! Boavista is a very tough team! you'll see that!!!

I really prefer Lazio than Boavista! Those guys dont let the other team play football, they are a combat team who never gives up!! They have about 30 fouls per game!!

K3nzo let them talk;) ill be so happy when those games end:D and Celtic isnt that great team, Porto has beat them last year 3-0 and we had the worst coach in the world!!!! the only thing they changed since then was to get that fat striker, and i really dont think a overweighted striker is a big improvement,,,

GO BOAVISTA!!!:rockman:

Celtic did lose to Porto in the Champions League not so long ago, but if I remember correctly Celtic also beat them in the same campaign at Parkhead.

Celtic should be favourites to get to the final against a slightly inferior Boavista side. Celtic has sorted their away form out as well, winning at Blackburn and Liverpool convincingly.

Lazio are the favourites out of the four but at this stage of the competition anyone could win it.

Sellik-Boavista will be a very tough one to call, both teams were largely unfancied to make it this far, and have beaten some really good teams. However for the Porto contingent to have this air of arrogance about Celtic in particular is very wrong. All 4 of the teams have made it there on merit, and Celtic's European attitude has improved massively, they proved that by their games with Liverpool and Balckburn...

I go for a Celtic - Porto final, being too close to call:(

a believe more in a final lazio-boavista but i would prefer Porto-boavista for sure:) i think Celtic has a really talented player, one of the best midfielders in Europe, Petrov rules:) then they have mjalby and larsson...boavista doesnt have this stars but they have the moral and physical strenght to beat Celtic..but no one knows, we'll see..im just a bit pissed off because everybody is saying celtic is in the Final already:kader:
