Both my friend and I have our own preferences as to how we map our buttons on our MS sidewinders. When playing FIFA 2002 multiplayer however we've noticed that only one configuration is allowed, so one of us has to suffer.

Is there anyway around this? Has this issue been solved in FIFA 2003?

Someone has to know this. What I'm asking is if it is possible to use the same type of controllers but have the buttons configured differently for each. (i.e. if I have two sidewinders, can one person have shoot on Button C, and another person have shoot on button B).

On FIFA 2002 to my knowledge this can't be done either Locally or when playing IP to IP. (Both controllers default to the host's mappings)
