I think almost all video cards with the s-video interface are "s-video out" as opposed to tv's etc. which have "s-video in". Therefore, although you could theoretically make all the right connections from your PS2/TV to your PC, you wouldn't be able to get a signal from your PS2/TV in to your graphics card. Now some video editing software/hardware you can buy allows you to input a signal to your PC but the logistics of that and all the DV setup I don't know. I think you need to approach it from that angle but without additional hardware I don't knoiw if it's possible.

ps2 to tv to pc? No. Connect Ps2 directly to pc using the svideo. If u have the geforce, you'll need to download wdm drivers and a program to capture it, which should be available in your cdrom.

thx ice boy, GeForce2 is what i got, im i'll check the inst CD out and look for some software on it,
yo my vidoes WERE just MPEG movies at first but then i compressed them using some shlt called X-viD MPEG-4 Codec because it made the movies smaller than DivX...
i don't know... try downloading that shlt... if i find a better server i'll compress the movies with DivX and post some links ;)

u need to buy svideo cable for ps2 first. PS2 comes only with a composite cable.

nope, you need DV in to play it on your monitor but not as good quality as using a VGA box, which uses your monitor as a TV.
