Our records show that over 1500 Soccer Gaming visitors have joined up and are taking part in ManagerZone. www.managerzone.com.

Because of the popularity of the new game with SG visitors, we've decided to begin designing a community site for the game. It should be open with in one week.

To start this forum off, I'd like to hear from some of the people who have joined up to ManagerZone. Let me know how you're enjoying the game, and talk about ways you think it can be improved.

The people behind MZ will be visiting these forums daily.

If you're yet to join up make sure you visit www.managerzone.com and start managing your team.

As part of the Managerzone crew, we welcome you to Soccergaming's community forum for ManagerZone member and those who are interested in joining ManagerZone.

Fist I want to answer a couple of questions that I have seen come through already:

Countries:
In order to become a member of ManagerZone you must live in the countries currenlty supported. You will find the country list on the "Become a member" page once you go to the site. We are adding countries as fast as possible so please bare with us. If your country is not listed, please send an email to info@managerzone.com requesting that your country be added.

Cost:
Cost to play is free. There is a nominal one-time activation fee for some countries to cover team setup as well as avoid players trying to signup with multiple accounts.

In summary, ManagerZone is truely a great game with over 100,000 members and incredibly growing wordwide. We have just introduced new full-motion play services so you actually see the game played live as well as a whole host of other cool features.

You can go to the site www.managerzone.com and check out the demo.

Just check it out and you'll see why so many people are into ManagerZone. Get in the Zone!

Just to let some of you know...if you start playing this game you will get addicted soon. There is just a touch to it, when you can compete against managers all over the world...Currently, Sweden is dominating the game, but they also have some 4 seasons against other countries, so don't worry...we will get them all soon :)

The game has many different aspects, probably the only thing that would bother new-coming managers is that you can't really configure your team when you are already PLAYING in a match, but that should be coming soon, plus you get used to it soon.

I would say this is the best manager game out there, and I've played enough of them.

Nice to see you here gonzo and von_fantasy! Any of you want to challenge me on couronne? :)

Anyway.. I've been playing MZ for over one year now and I'd say MZ is like a drug, only better! The management never ends.
You set your players training, chose tactics for the A- and B-team, invests in young talents, search the transferlist, build on your stadio, schedules friendlies, hire trainers... and so on.

Even better than CM!

Well, soccer and soccer online manager games are great fun and I think that Managerzone is the best one out there right now. I can only smile when thinking about what the game will be like in a year or two. I mean it's under development and is improving constantly! Right now it's a great game, so I cannot even imagine what it will be like in the future.

Well... If you haven't signed up, do so!

I have been playing for almost a year now, and it's really addictive. I log on every day to check my squad, book friendlies, read the training report, trying out tactics to ensure a win in the Sunday league game...
If you havn't signed up yet, do so and join the fun. :)

I have some questions about MZ. When you start up a youth program how long does it take for you to get your youth players? And how long do you have to have the youth players before they can play on the senior squad?

Bluecoaster
27-03-2003, 12:40:AM
The players will arrive on next monday. The same goes for coaches if some of them agree to work for you.

Youths will stay youths until the age of 18, a player gets older with every season (one season=one MZ year)

Thanks for all the excellent feedback guys.

Don't be affraid to open some new topics in this forum so all aspects of ManagerZone can begin being discussed.

As I mentioned, we are working on a ManagerZone community site. We're looking for some volunteers to help run the site. Your job would be to post news and help add new content to the site. You'd need to have a basic understanding on how to make websites, and speak good English. Send an email to matt@soccergaming.com if you're interested. Thanks.

Neutenboom

The game is really great.

I have one question about it: If you play 2 matches a day with the same players, don't they get tired then, or doesn't that infect their way of playing?

ManagerZone B7
27-03-2003, 03:40:PM
neutenboom that depends on your players from and what the indicator says, if it says that the player needs to rest then you might want to not have him play that often, if it says that he needs to play more than i can imagine it is only helping him...

managerzone isn't so realistic, you can play as many games in a day as you want, you just have to join a lot of friendly leagues ;)

Serano
27-03-2003, 05:13:PM
Well I agree that MZ ain't the worlds most realistic soccergame, but that's maby why it's so great! It not just logging in once a week to check your leaguematch with a slow borring season like in other games.
There are so many things to do and som many things to plan.

Weh hey. To the person who said that it'd be better if Scotland was added Scottish are allowed to sign up under England until Scotland is added and then you have the option of staying in the English league or playing in the Scottish League.

Currently there are 2 out of the 8 teams in the EPL that are scottish and 2 (I think) Welsh... but the team that is top is English (ME!!!)

Well I've just joined MZ this week and already I'm impressed with the way things are going. I haven't yet played a game as I type but in about 2 hours I will be playing my first friendly game. I like the way this game lets you get involved as quickly or as slowly as you want. You don't have to rush into playing games if you don't want to, but it is the reason your playing the game in the first place, so go for it. I advertised for some games on their forum and was immediately contacted and games were arranged, brilliant!!!

This is definitely a game for those who like Soccer Management games. :rockman:
