Why oh why is the game sooooooo slow? Ita takes med 15 minutes to get through a week without games, news or nothing, 15 minutes!!!!! Is there anything at all to do? Has Eidos figure this out?

PS I've got a hot PC so that's not the problem ...

Can you write down your specs?

It jus took me 50 mins for a match on very fast and key highlights. The thing is its fast when summings actualy happening but when somethings just about to happen it takes about 2 mins.

What were you saying TROD about the full game running faster? :)

You may be over the limite for your PC specs.

Scandisk and then defragment your drive. That should help. :)

Erm, if your on XP you can give it higher priority as long as you ain't running anything else at the same time.

Takes me maybe 5 minutes to finish 1 game ..... the game loads up very fast .. so no speed problems here.

Maybe you selected too many divisions when you started your game? My games were very slow when I chose more than the recommended number. Sorry for this newbie question, but is there any reason to select more than one division if you only plan to manage one team? Will the rosters not be complete?

The league you select will be complete, but a lot of players in the leagues you don't select (about 80-90% I think) will not be available :S

It did cost a fortune 1.5 year ago... The geme is not running slow with 6 countries and 12 leagues selected

How do you defragment it?

start menu --> programs --> Applications --> System Apps --> Defragment

Do it overnight, though, it takes a while...

Or go and play some real football while doing this ;)

Defragmenting takes a long time. Make sure to run a scandisk before though.
