Hello all graphix gurus. heh
Could anyone help me out here. I have this awesome 7 second clip of Figo hitting home a great free kick! I would like to play the clip on my avatar and then have my original avatar which i have now, show after the clip plays, going in a looped fashion. The vid is like 570 kb... can I get some in depth help here please!?

The program I use to make animations can't read that extensions(.wmv) do you happen to have a .mpeg of it?

I got the vid from a figo fan site. It seems to only have .wmv and .avi, would the AVIs work?

how big is it? maybe you could upload it somewhere?

sorry for the repetition... in case you haven't checked, I sent a file called Figo Goal 2... it said .avi at the end of the file so I am assuming its that format. Let me know if you got that when you get the chance.

The first vid only seems to play with divx. I just tried Windows Media Player and Quicktime... both of them didn't show the vid.

The second vid plays on windows media player though...

I think only AVI files can be transformed in gif... so since i cant open the avi file correctly i cant help u! :o

Okay... I am getting AVIs but how about this, what program does it have to be able to play on for you guys to be able to work with it?

Yes, you can. It uses the DivX codec if it's installed. I wouldn't know how to zoom in a bit though :$

That is really awesome that you were able to get it to work. I do wish you could zoom.... anyway could you possibly slow down the vid a bit and show my current avatar for a bit longer... it looks really cool for starters though!:D

For someone who has never done anything like that, it's pretty tight! I don't know how to make sigs either, the one I have was done by Kader! So to see my vid with my avatar, its just sweet.

BUT if you want to improve upon it... please go ahead! heh;)

Maybe a fade from the vid to my avatar after the goal is completed... stay on the face for like 3 secs, then quick transition to the vid again. I dunno. Like you said though, a zoom in so the vid can be a bit clearer would be nice.

Perhaps one of the more experienced guys with a good DivX codec can improve on this... I've been trying to do it with an AVI editor, but I'd have to export and resize some 60 frames with the programs I have available, a little too much for a night's work...

Was reading and I thought about downloading a divx from kazaa, but I guess someone did something for you.

Yeah, which is awesome. BUT if you have the time and feel inclined to improve upon it, then please do so! Apparently its possible to zoom in more on the action... if you could do that, that would be awesome. I am totally open for any improvements... but if not.. thanks anyway.
