I saw a couple of post in the mz game/page forum that saids that all the users got to pay to play??
got to pay 1 U$S to get a team??

The game will always be free. What we do is to introduce a cheat limiting function where you get your password via your mobile phone. That means it is much harder to sign up for many teams. The golden rule in MZ is that you are only allowed one team per manager. Some people do not respect this rule and the managers of Sweden came up with the idea of logging your mobile phone number and that way limit cheat.

SMS cost money so a fee is taken out.

MZ will always otherwise be free...

so, that means that MZ is not free.......

If I dont have a mobile phone, I cant pay... if I cant pay, I cant have a team.....

so please dont say that the game is for free when I got to pay 1 euro or dollar, to sign in........


The managers who have one team right now, we will got to pay in the future???

If you already own a team and want to pay by SMS text messaging, then you have to register your mobile. It costs money to regsiter the mobile as you get an SMS reply.

If you are starting, you are signing up, and you have to pay to have a reply to your mobile to confirm that the number belongs to you and such. Its a very small charge, most games like this cost upto £10 a month. Its still free, its just a precaution against Cheaters.

A lot of people who want this service are the ones who are fully against cheaters. And as a precaution this has been made to stop ppl from cheating.

Pablin, if you have already made a team, then you don't have to pay, this has just taken place a few days ago, only the new teams will have to pay, you are safe :)

but other managers who wanna sign now in my country got to pay??
we dont have money or SMS to pay, you will have a short list of teams in argentina.
A note on a popular newspaper come out the past wednesday about the Mz here.... if you start charrging to sing in no one will sign here I warranty that!!......

Only the countries that have SMS are paying. The only reason they are paying is beacause of the SMS that needs to be sent to confirm the number.

you can start disbanding the argentinian league no one will sign.....
reasons:
1 no money to pay....
2 no cell phone (users age 13-18) and more....
3 hattrick is free....

If you want that Mz keep growing please remove this feature.... think another...

Pablin - that is why I said it is "otherwise" free. There is a one euro charge but it is a one time fee and will never happen again.

We have a choice to make it totally free, which it still is in most countries (please remember that), but due to the fact that people don't always adhere to rules we have chosen to move this way...

when i talk to my friends about it... they think like me no one can even sign or pay.....

dunno how many managerzone managers has our country but if the game dont keep growing here the users who have a team will stop playing...... like me... for an example...
and whit the new SMS sistem no one sign, I talk bacause I know my country and the financial situation......

Pablin, johan just said, only the new countries that have the SMS feature only have to pay.

The only countries that pay are:
Sweden
England
Norway
Spain
Finland
& Denmark

All the rest of MZ do not pay.

Im not sure i think its such a good idea... i quickly see alot of ppl going to Hattrick instead of MZ because of that.. It wont be that big a problem in Denmark since alot of young ppl have Mobile Phones...

I think the little payment is perfect actually. It keeps more active teams in the game and less inactive. The person whom feels 1 euro is too much is not interested in this game to begin with. I think you get 3 pieces of candy for that amount and all of you probably use SMS for that amount every week or more... Either way it is a tool to keep down cheating as well as weeding out the inactive managers. It works real well so far.
