Turn on anti-aliasing, and anisotropic filtering :)

Rabsy, turn on AA then try ss, I use quincunx for my setting...

@FnArFy, I thought Fifa didn't use anisotropic filtering at all:confused:

@ Vazza: Mabye, I don't really know, although I thought anisotropic filtering was more of a texture flattening & sharpening library, and that when turned on it just processed all the textures in the game... I didn't think games had to code for it...

I could be wrong tho...

Download the latest Detonator drivers 43.45 and directx9.0a, they seem to improved the quality a little bit

Or you may want to try out the omega drivers. You can try out both set of drivers and compare them and see which ones you like the best

Cheers!

I thought anisotropic filtering was the flattening and sharpening of textures viewed from wide angles...

Just searched on the web and here is what a couple of sites have defined it as...

Anisotropic filtering (AF) is a feature of some video cards that sharpens the details of the fading-away part of a 3D object that recedes into the distance. Think of the text in the titles at the beginning of the Star Wars movies that is presented in large letters and then scrolls back into the distance. As it scrolls off, it becomes fuzzy and hard to read. In a 3D image, you may want a comparable effect to retain the sharpness of an object as it recedes; anisotropic filtering does this. (Isotropic describes objects or image elements with vectors of equal value along different axes, such as squares and cubes. Anisotropic describes objects whose vectors are unequal, such as trapezoids and parallelograms.)
Since anisotropic filtering requires intense processing as image frames are presented to the display, it may affect performance. A user may want to weigh the perceived improvement in visual quality against the effect on performance.

Well, you could overclock it...... ;)
I have a GeForce 2 MX 400, and it's ok, I get 1300 as score on 3dmarkd 2001 SE, my friend overclocks it for me, and now I get 1900...;)
then I read about users gettin 16000 and over, and I decide, that I really, badly want a Radeon 9500!!!! Costs the half of 9700, and if you're lucky, you can overclok it to get even more, than 9700....if you are not...well, you still have a way better graphic card, than before....

You dont need to ask silencer for tips on how to make your game look better :)
You just need to turn on some of the graphic-enhancing options for your video card...
First of all make sure you have the latest detonator drivers... and if you want the best possible image quality I would try out the omega drivers at www.omegacorner.com They offer superior image quality for Nvidia video cards and can even boost your performance in some applications, just make sure you do not tweak any of the options that are already tweaked with the Omega drivers..
If you just get the defaults detonators you can always turn up the Anisotropic setting and the Antialiasing, althought I do not recommend you use the Quincunx setting if you don't have to. While it does offer a very speedy alternative to 4x/2x Antialiasing, it creates a sort of "blur" during games. I would recommend you use 4x Antialiasing or 4xS is d3d games if your computer is good enough for it :)

Also downloading applications such as boot rapter, addboard rapter, etc, can greatly increase your in-game graphics.
