Hi.
I play Fifa 2003 with adsl connection and windows XP.
I enter the online match up very smoothly and I see all the players. However when I try to connect with any one of them I cannot "establish connection". I get no error message. It just stays there.

Moreover, I wasn't able to register electronically my fifa 2003 original. I get the "try using an external connection" message!

Are these problems linked?

Please help.

I have exactly the same problem, had Fifa since Xmas and as yet have never played a game online!!!! Ive tried everything emailed EA phoned EA posted on here, spoke to my ISP but still nothing, im resigned to never playing against anyone online at all!!!!

Silly question - but could be anything to do with a firewall.

I'm currenlty still trying to get as far as you have - curenly getting error (400)....

to fix the error 400 go to internet properties in your browser and on the general tab click languages down the bottom. click add and add in the language English (united Kingdom) [en-gb]

that should do the trick
