Lazio and AS Roma.. The giants of Rome..

Both teams are good, but I think Lazio is a better team nowdays.

No offence to Roma fans, but I think the coach isn't good..

Lazio has Simeone, Stankovic, Stam, Couto, Inzaghi, Miha, Fiore etc.. while Roma has Totti, Cafu, Cassano, Montella, Tomassi..

There are more good players in Lazio..

This is just my opinion..

It's almost like comparing Torino(lazio) these days to Juventus(roma) that is how much Roma is ahead of Lazio, for god sakes Lazio cant even pay their player's, it's been almost a year since most seen pay at that joke of a club it's like a circus.

The best Rome club is AS Roma, not only have we won more scudetto's, we also have more titles, and that team S.S.L has not beaten us in the past 2 years.. well soon 3 and counting! ;) plz. couple of seasons back Lazio were Italy's richest club...and now they are one of the poorest (among the top teams)

I don't agree with the gluf in class though. they can both beat any team on their day.

But as things stand now, Lazio could be heading for some silverware(UEFA cup), while Roma probably won't even be in Europe next season.

Roma has a much bigger fan base though...

so its even-stevens to me right now.

but i like Roma better....although i lost my hatered for Lazio after they won Juve the Scudetto last term :) ! :rockman:

You can't really define which is the better team, it changes every season. If you were meaning this season i would say Lazio.

ciao No it's not like comparing Torino to Juventus, cause Torino are relegation condenders, and about the salaries maybe you should get your facts, They only owe 4 months of salary now as they paid 2 months a week a ago, and about 6 months in total before. Plus a lot of teams, including your beloved Roma are not on time with salaries. It's also not like comparing Torino to Juve, because since the 1998/1999 season we have the 2nd best record (first is Juve) in Italy and 7th best in Europe, ahead of any Italian team. Plus we are the original Rome team.

IceBLu you said Roma have a larger fan base, that is not true, they have better attendence, but that's because they're fanbase is greater in Rome. In the rest of Italy there are more Lazio fans. Many polls showed that. Lazio is forth among fanbase, after Juve, Inter, and Milan.

But, I'm not going to be as ignorant as the guy above me and not see that both teams are good and talented, the only reason I'll give us the edge is because we are the originals, we've had a better record in the past 5 years than Roma, and hey I'm a Lazio fan.

Both are good teams, but I hate those Lazio "fans" who make racistic remarks to black players.

So I prefer Roma.

i think Capello is a very good manager actually....

Lazio have a good team, with Roma you have to add Samuel, Delvecchio, Emerson, and Punucci.

Lazio has had a better year than us in the Serie A but i think Roma are the better team.......imo

Roma: Cafu, Candela, Samuel, Aldair, Lima, Emerson, Panucci, Tomassi, Montella, Delvecchio, and Totti all very good players in my opinion. Too bad Batistuta left, I don't really like Cassano.

I only like Claudio Lopez -"the flee" in Lazio. They lost 4 to 1 to FC Porto today, saw the game very dissapointing I thought they can do better very poor defense and that 3rd goal... goalkeeper should of had it.

Anyways, AS Roma is a better team in my opinion, hopefully they can make to the 4th place in the league to get a spot in the next years Champions League.

They beat Valencia 3-0, c'mon!

I am a die hard Roma fan. Oh no, hold on. Let me rephrase that. I was a die hard Roma fan. I dunno who to support, who's top? ;)

No, I love Roma. Totti's going down too easily too much now, Cassano is a whiny git. Blah. Then to top it off, we have Di Canio, relegation to come. :( Not been a good season for me.
