There has been specualtion in UK press today stating that Gallas is on his way to Arsenal for a tidy fee of 7.5 mill, he can play anywhere at the back and is in great form for France and Chelsea.
Claudio Ranieri, the Chelsea coach responded by saying he could not stand in his way.

hahahaha it might not happen, dont get pissed;)(yet) ,any defender seems world class to arsenal nowadays wit the tools were working with at the mo, i think he worth about 7mil or so and im not sure if we r gonna spend that much b'cos we've also signed some other defender for next season,i unfortunately sense that wenger believes in cygan and keown's probably got another season in him.

I was watching a preview for the weekend's football action over here in Asia by ESPN and they spoke to someone, Richard Keys, who said he spoke to Wenger about defenders.
Wenger said he was looking for a defender with the brains of John Terry and the talent of William Gallas.

heh
the only thing Gallas has said he wants to play in the Champions League. Chelsea is a young and improving team, who can be in the CL this year and years after that if they can keep the players they have. I hope Gallas realizes this and stays with Chelsea.

I will be SO pissed off if we lose Gallas. He is our star defender! I will personally send a mail bomb to Highbury if he goes :f***:

Gallas is one of the best defenders in the Premership, certainly in the top 5 for mind. Along side the likes of Hyypia, Desailly etc...
There is apparently a clause in his contract stating he can listen to offers if a team comes in with a bid of around 7.5mil. But Chelsea wouldnt want to let him go.
I believe his decision on whether he wants to go is based on whether or not Chelsea make the CL
