Hi just found this site half an hour earlier...well I consider myself pretty good at Fifa 99 and I was wondering if there was someone in here (with a little money too :() that could afford a modem phone-call to Romania for a multiplayer game...you won't regret it!Also there is no way of playing this game online other than modem to modem right?No patch that could make that happen?

Unfortunately you're right - modem to modem is the only way you can play FIFA 99 online.

I myself don't fancy the phone call (it would be England to Romania!), but if you go to the "Modem D-Base" on the site and do a search for Romania, you'll find a load of people who you could play. It's just a matter of getting in touch with them and asking them if they want a game!

I did there only 20 something ppl who signed up there...I emailed them all but got no reply (lol) they must have signed up quite a while ago...the game is getting old and few still play it so getting a modem game is asking too much...I was hoping I'd find a millionaire(insert billionaire if you wish) here who doesn't care where he calls...
Isn't there any way though,any progrma that would connect 2 computers through dialup and simulate a LAN?I don't know exactly what I have in mind,something of an intranet maybe...would the game recognize that as a network?

There used to be someway to be able to play on heat.net . But I completely forgot it's been so long.

I really wanna play, but im from the US, and im not gonna pay for that. if theres another way, im interested.
