As you will probley know i have began playing CM01/02 agen. I have started again with Newcastle. I am over half way into the season and i have made some brilliant buys. I am sitting Third in league. 10 points behind ManUre and 1 behind Arsenal. I am in the semi-final of the League Cup (Beating Wimbledon 7-1 from the First Leg) and have just beaten Sunderland 4-0 in the FA Cup Fourth Round. I have no screens at the mo but i will take some and put them up but tonite :)

Anyway heres my team

------------------------------Given------------------------------------

-------Griffin------Lescott----Woodgate-----Bernard-----------

--Kaka/Robert-------Silberbauer/Jenas--------Solano/Dyer---

------------------------------Bellamy---------------------------------

---------------------Shearer-----Hasselbaink----------------------

Any suggestions you have that could improve my team i woul;d welcome. I have 6 mill left but i dont intend to spend that untill the summer along with mo-money :) I'll post regular updates here. And some screens.

Luca Toni , Ventola , Trezegeut , sometimes these players dont get any playtime and you can get them for ±6 million after the first season

I agree with John, strenghten the defence, Woodgate is pretty good but im not sure on Lescott, Griffin and especially bernard, get someone more experienced.

I agree with the points about the defence, but I also think that your midfield looks a bit lightweight. This will make a problematic defence worse.

Maybe your attack is at fault as well, Sherear and Hasselbaink are really two goalscorers with no pace so maybe they can't keep the ball away from the defence :)

To be honest i have had no problems with scoring goals this season. have 72 goals so far, highest in the league (Shearer, Hasselbaink and Bellers gettin the lions share). I was thinking of buying two players to replace Griffin and Bernard at the end of the season.

I cahnged my tactic when i went on a bad run and its seemed to have worked...i beat Dinamo Bucherest 6-1 in the UEFA Cup 4th round and the Arse 3-0 in the FA cup. I am also thru to the final of the League Cup with a 9-1 aggregate in over Wimbledon. I now play a simple 4-4-2
