i'm considering purchasing the gravis exterminator pad, i'm curently using a sidewinder but have read some good reviwes about the exterminator, any feed back on this pad would be apreciated

Hi Terry,
The Sidewinder is more comfortable to use,
i purchased the Exterminator last week, but
after using the Sidewinder for months, i didn't like the design/feel of the Exterminator, didnt like the idea of having a direction pad, plus a small joy lever as an option..plus the slightly different button positions, also found it to be very awkward to use. it is slightly bigger than the sidewinder, and to me felt unbalanced...
Not to say that they are not up to speed, gravis hardware is always excellent, but if you decide to purchase one it will take some
time to get used to the feel of it, could
perhaps try one out in one of the stores before you purchase one, must be a trial
with Fifa99 of course, after all, it is
the only reason we shell out our money for
expensive game tackle...

Thanks for the reply robbo, i did try to have a go with one in the store but couldn't get know where near the thing LOL everyone giving NFS high stakes a bash with it LOL,
got me thinking now maybe i should stay with the sidewinder, only one problem i promised it to my mate for 50 aus dollars LOL

i paid $79 ozi for it, but then changed it for the new sidewinder, much better to use...
can't your mate use the keyboard, will save
you a few dollars if he his kind to you..
