what do u think about this game

I was reading some bad stuff about this game and it seems like most of what people are hearing is hype because of the upcoming movie. I'm a huge matrix fan and I was going to buy this game no questions asked but I'm definitely gonna rent it first now...

I was reading about it on the uk's official ps2 website, uk.playstation.com, and they can't stop raving about it. Saying that the action is fantastic, the story weaves in and out of the film, etc.

It's actually written by the Wachowski brothers, so it's bound to keep a very close tie in with the films that are being released.

I saw some video clips of it on the ps2 site and it looks like it plays smoothly and the action scenes look spot-on. One scene the female character spots an agent at the end of a corridor and runs towards him. As she approaches she runs up the left wall, down, and springs off the right wall delivering a karate style kick to the agent. It looked sweet as...

wat is it like? does it directly follow the movie storyline or is it a shooter game or an rpg or a martial arts game or what?:confused:

The game looks amazing and from what I've seen of it I'll be defenitely getting it. The game goes along with the Matrix Reloaded story line so it basically ads to the story of the movie.
The action sequences looks out of this world!

The game is ace. The graphics aren't razor sharp but the motion, and the moves... :o WOW!!! Seeing is believing, but there are 100s of moves and you move fluidly from one to the other. Last night, for example, I'd ran up a flight of steps and spotted an enemy (not an agent 'cos they are rock hard, although I did fight an agent once, foolishly :) ). He turned and looked at me just as I was about to hit him, so I pressed Focus (the thing that slows time down), and in one motion my character (Niobe) punched him in his face with her right, grabbed his shotgun with her left and yanked that out of his hands, and smacked him across the mouth with the butt of the shotgun as she was taking it and he was still reeling from the punch. I almost fell out of my chair with how smooth it was.

Fighting an agent though is a no-no. I came across one and decided to give him a go. It was attack-block-counter, in true Matrix martial art fashion, but I couldn't knock him onto his ass. :D He'd always turn my attack around, I didn't stand much of a chance.

But you have to play this game to believe how brilliant the combat, gun-play and motion is in this game. :D

I'm ordering it now:)

On Saturday my mate bought it. Fortunately i was there when he played on it for the 1st time i was a amazed with every aspect of the game. A definite buy for any Matrix fan. I'm gonna get it hopefully next month can't wait.

hehe..If you're DEFINITELY buying it, then renting first would be a waste of money ;)

The game is amazing !... and the hour of extra movie footage is very very cool i bought it for gamecube ENTER THE MATRIX rox!!

This game does not cease to amaze me. Last night I had to fight an agent. The fight lasted for about 45mins! I figured out the only way to beat him (not spoiling it for anyone), but he was rock hard and would come back whenever I got him close. I had to learn how to block properly and only then I stood a chance. Great stuff.

It seems like a really immersive game! And the hacking system sounds cool.

I'm gonna buy it soon, very soon.:) Gameplay from what I read is very close to the moves they do in the movies.:)
