When I try to launch my FIFA 99, it doesn't work and there comes a Abort message:

What's the problem???? And how can I fix it?

Have you just upgraded to Windows 98 version 2?

I recently did this and had the same problem. I'm not sure if there is a quick fix but since it's so easy to do (and quicker than trying to find out) I just reinstalled it. It worked fine.

I also have a SB Live 128 running Live 2.0, not sure if this is an issue becuase I did did sound problems after. To fix this I just unticked the USE PREFERED DEVICE ONLY and it seemed to work.

As silly as it sounds, the SB Live 128 emulates in software a true SoundBlaster card.

Anyway, it's all working now and I just applied the Spanish commetary pack and it is quick ammusing.
