'nuff said. Ah yeah, but wasn't it Man United who denied showing any interest in Rio Ferdinand last summer? Really puts things into perspective after a £30 million transfer fee, doesn't it?

I can't see anything stopping Beckham going now, if he stays, all this transfer talk will cause unrest within the team

IMO it could swing either way, sure I am not totally sure if he is leaving, but if he is it could possibly be Real or even Inter.... so leave!:D

Inter are still interested in signing him this summer. As part of the deal, Recoba is as one possible swap deal to reduce the transfer fee...

It is still possible that Beckham can leave in the summer. If United do need to raise cash for transfers coming in then Beckham is the best player to sell, because he is worth the most.

But whether Sir Alex really wants to part with a player he has admired for so long and worked with for more than a decade is very debatable.

And then there's also the huge amount of merchandise he brings to the club, so the accountants might say something about selling the England captain.
