Hmmmm... It looks like sukur is really interested in coming to fenerbahce as he stated... chances are he's most likely coming back to turkey to play for fener.

A lot of Fenerbahce fans don't want this but I think its what the squad needs. Since Fenerbahce is investing in youth, hakan sukur is expierenced and he is a great leader. I hope this works out for the best and sukur gets his career back on track

i dont think he will leave blackburn so soon he just got there and he is very happy with souness and tugay being there and he scored 2 goals just the other day. i think these are plots thrown in front of the media by fenerahce because they are doing bad in league and they are trying to show their fans their contendership for next season. now if hakan sukur said "Yes i would like to come to Turkey" dont be suprised of course he would. But i doubt he will now.

I heard a live interview with him after an international match. He stated that he was waiting for a proposal from Fenerbahce because he wants to come to turkiye so badly. Fener management did speak with sukur, he said that chances of him coming to Fener are really high.

InfamousT this has been all over turkish media for the last week. I'm sure if it was only a rumour started by the fener club that sukur would come out and deny the rumour. He even said on live tv he wants to play in Fener.

Its our worst year this century. I can't really answer that question, we made good transfers in the summer, got a pretty good desiplined coach, but slowly the team fell apart. Players started leaving everything started falling a part. The only good thing that happened to us this year was beating galatasaray 6-0.

Yeah I agree. Sukur is getting old though. I think he has his mind set on finishing up his career in Turkey because he misses it so much.

He is exactly what we need. Our management is investing in youth and sukur is a perfect leader for all the young players. A big lose for blackburn is a huge gain for us :hump: I just hope this goes through.

Anyway, Blackburn couldn't afford him anymore so it's said, let him go back to Turkey then. I don't know, but I've always had the feeling that Sukur never lived up to his expectations, that's a shame.

He got Turkey to the world cup, he got us to the quarter finals at euro. He has done a lot and his home is Turkey and he misses Turkey so he's coming back. Blackburn can't offord him anyways so he's coming to a team that can offord him.

The only competition that guy can score goals is the Turkey League, plain and simple reason.

True, you're right, he's been great for Turkey, and great for the people of Turkey, he's a genuine hero there. But he has failed at every club he played for outside Turkey.

Guys, trust me Hakan Sukur is class but he is just a little emotional kind of like Jardel. I dont think he will leave Blackburn and Souness who took him in at his worst times for a team like Fenerbahce...He still has at least 2 or 3 years in him and he wont waste it in TUrkey. Trust me, Hakan Sukur will come through hes loyal.
