One hour to go before the kick off

first news is that the New Newcastle Home will be worn for the first time this afternoon since its our last home game of the season.
Personally I dont like that (loads of teams do it now) .... the new kit should be for the new season ... keep our current one till the end .. cos its a good one anyway

squads:
NUFC: Given, Harper, Bernard, Hughes, Woodgate, S.Caldwell, Bramble, Dyer, Jenas, Viana, Solano, Robert, Kerr, Ambrose, Bellamy, Ameobi, LuaLua, Chopra

BCFC: Bennet, Kenna, Upson, Purse, Clapham, Devlin, Clemence, Hughes, Lazaridis, Dugarry, Horsfield, John, Savage, Carter, Kirovski, Swierczewski, M Johnson, D Johnson, Tebily, Marriott.

Must win for the Toon .... and hope for the worst from Liverpool and Chelsea

I think Ambrose will get a run out in this game

3rd place is ours. Thankyou Chelsea and Liverpool for making things interesting. Now we have to knock off West Brom and hope Leeds join Sunderland in the Nationwide next season. Oh how glorious that will be.

Matthew Upson's sending off did raise a few eyebrows, but I think according to the law, it was the right decision - just.

Bernard played well aswell. Think he's trying to prove something? Viana did play well but MOTM for me was Dyer. He is really trying to prove his critics he deserved his place in the FAPL Team of the Year. Also, ist good to see we did improve on last season and made it to 3rd. A trophy in a few years lads?
