View Full Version : Arsene Wenger pipped Van Nistelrooy

After Henry claimed the Writers Award, Arsene Wenger pipped Van Nistelrooy as a part-timer, he said that Ruud wouldn't score so many goals if he's not fresh, meaning that Henry has played more games, so not fresh enough to score more goals.
(remember that Arsene Wenger said about the "fresh" thing for France National Team in World Cup last year, I wonder Arsene Wenger was a fridge salesman previously)

Arsene Wenger never respect his opponents and never show the sport spirit. Maybe double last year had congested his mind.

:kader:

If eventually this kind of manager can win trophy at the end of the season, I think the justice is undone.

You need arrogance in football.

Ferguson was fined by UEFA for saying they fixed the draw in the CL, I mean, how arrogant can you be? He needs to be arrogant towards Arsenal and respect the opponents. His morale boosting comments make him look silly though. :(

Fair play to the man, he's got some balls to say that sort of stuff though.

Read what have Fergie said about Raul and Ronaldo after both legs of Champions League against Real.

I think Arsene Wenger has beaten Fergie in terms of Arrogance.

Who cares what Arsene thinks??

He should worry more about his own team, than his opposition's players.

van Nistelrooy has played in 33 Premiership games. Henry 34 before today's game against Leeds. Enough said.

This is sad... Arsene is still using the "world cup" excuse... oh my god. There goes my respect for him as a Utd supporter... down the pan.

That'd suck. He'd go to the press and state that Arsenal are without a doubt the best team in England. They'll do the treble you know - Charity Shield, FA Cup and the Whinge-ington Cup:D
I'm starting to tune out to his comments. I used to have respect for his managerial skills and to a certain extent I still do. However it's a waste of time listening to a man whose name sounds a lot like Insane W*nker :D

wtf is he on about ?

ok Holland didnt play in the WC...but France didn't play much either :| ...its not lik htey reached the semis or the finals ffs for their players to get drained out.

i absolutely hate Wenger. He hardly ever gives credit to the opposition even after being outclassed.

His crap team was useless in europe too. Even those of you who aren't ManU fans, have to thank ManU for putting the EPL on the map. I don't like ManU or the EPL but if it weren't for ManU, people wouldn;t even care to watch the Premiership. They are the only team that have done some damage in Europe recently.

And heres one more fact that proves Wenger is a complete MORON -

he talks about 'freshness' when in reality, Ruud should be just as fatigued as Henry if not more, as he has played more games in the CL....and has hardly been rested (except against Basle i think).

Im glad Arsenal didn't win the title coz they don't deserve to... especially with a coach like Arsene.
