Furious George is right, FIFA dissapoints me every year, so why ask how good is it going to be, cause the main thing is how bad it's gonna be, lol, well I think EA have tried, but they never please me, only KCET have done that I'm afraid and I don't own a KCET football game, once I was in denial about KCET and wouldn't own up to agreeing that their games are more simulation then FIFA and more fun, but now even the U.S have got WE, I think it's time to agree that EA need to step it up, otherwise a lot of their sales are going to be swept away by the better football creators.

That will never happen IMO, what u have to realise is that EA targets the mass audience, and the mass audience does actually prefer FIFA over PES2 ect ect

as long as they keep selling they wont change their formula too much, they are making the game more simulation, and thats good, but dont expect to change so quick in just 1 year, Konami has been making those games for a long time, they knwo what they are doimg, every game they come out with is not a new game, just an updated version of their last game, all they do is Tweak the gameplay here and there to perfect it,

EA has just recently gone in that direction, and they are learning as they go along. it be much better to compare Fifa to other fifas of the past, then to pes2 ,

also ive said it in other posts, dont be too quick to judge, and dont get ur mind set on one thing, leave it open, once its closed its so hard to like one thing if i already hate it before even actually trying it, and thats waht George seems to be doing, HE ABSOLUTLE HATES IT, yet hes not played it :o

oh and id like to add, Nick Clubman, u seem to be trying REAL hard not to get excited about fifa 2004, from all ur other pots i read, u get excited and them some guy coems along and puts u down for it, and u change ur mind and agree with them, all i can say is

for get about them, GET EXCITED!! who cares what other think??

Fifa 2004 looks to be a good game, compare it to fifa 2000, 2k1, 2k3, not pes2, they are 2 different games, Targeting Different audience, Kinda like X-box and say Gamecube ;)

anyway.. I think last time I was happy with a fifa game was fifa '98

Cheers mate. Yeah, I get excited at times and still have faith in EA, but I just feel that it’s going to take more then a Career mode to get us blessing their game. :(

lol, I was a crazy FIFA player back then!!! :D I still have faith now, but think it will be the same as last year.

The gameplay will almost be identical to FIFA 2003 which means easiness and EA want it to be even more pick up and play, how backwards is that? :confused:

Yep :) 2003 sucked, 2002 sucked bad, 2001 was god awful, 2000 was the worst piece of crap to ever grace the gaming scene, in practically any genre of video game. 2000 was horrible. I dont expect much else out of 2004, minus the franchise idea, which is about 3+ years late even compared to all other EA titles.

Unfortunately, I have to confess and agree with Bayern Manager.
Ea has found the formula of great sailing and not gonna change it too much.
If I’m wrong – correct me, according to my experience the main part of ea success is – graphic.
I remember when I bought fifa 98 rtwc – I had to buy excellent video card (voodoo2 – 250$) to get all details of the unbelievable (for those time) graphic!
Now, as my point, due to concurrence with Konami – they have to pay attention to the gameplay, but even they will not (I’m sure) – there will be a customers who would rather have a deal with excellent graphics than gameplay.
