sorry no poll for this, b/c i feel w/o a poll there would be more debate.

here are my premiership matches of the season:

Manchester United v. Chelsea: if you thought the chase for the premiership was decided at highbury in april, then you're wrong. the late winner by diego forlán was pretty much the turning point in man u's season, and they never turned back, as they regained the premiership.

Everton v. Arsenal: remember the name--wayne rooney.

Tottenham Hotspur v. Everton: great match for the neutral, w/ 7 goals scored combined, and a hat-trick by robbie keane eventually sealing victory for spurs.

Arsenal v. Blackburn Rovers: the gunners home winning streak in the premiership was snapped in marvellous fashion by blackburn back in october. brad friedel played the match of his life between the sticks, he was even carrying an injury that day. rovers fans could also thank edu for the own goal as well.

Bolton Wanderers v. Tottenham Hotspur: the championship was decided at old trafford in january, while the relegation issue was decided at the reebok in march. gary doherty shot spurs in the foot by conceding a late penalty, and jay-jay okocha made no mistake from the spot. with that one kick, he saved bolton's premiership status.

theres five of the best to start the debate with. now i will open up the floor to your comments.

ARSENAL 2 - 3 LEEDS UTD

For us there has probably never been a bigger game to win...ever.

The ramifications of failure their and then not doing the business at Villa would have been terminal for Leeds.

Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal
That match, I will never understand.
Arsenal were absolutely magnificent in that first half, and weren't much worse in the second, yet somehow Riise (Mr. I am so hurt by Jeffers' dive), and even more astonishingly, Heskey; score goals and we get a point.
We get one point from a game in which we could have scored seven
goals in the first half.
I can still see the look on the LPool players faces when we charged forward and scored the first goal.
They were shell-shocked.
And all we got was a point.

Newcastle 2-6 Manchester United.

Manchester United were irresistable after conceding an early goal. Scholes netting a hat-trick as well.

Help?

Definetly Man U-Newcastle game! But which one, that should be the question. Most people will say the 6-2, but i would say 5-3 was closer and more entartaining and that was right the game, from where United started to beat the big teams again and the game before what Sir Bobby gave a major boost to Untied season, by saying that United dynasty is far from over, so the 5-3 should be the game of the season.

Arsenal 2 Man Utd 2 this was the first step to the title...if Arsenal had won this it may of been a different story.
