ive played 5 seasons now and was wondering if anyone who's played further can tell me when players such as beckham, giggs, keane, scholes, nevilles etc retire as it would help me with team planning for future seasons. cheers.

To be honest I think its random from game to game.

Beckham could retire at 39 on some one elses and then retire at 33 on your game, so as you can guess not much help really!

Recurring Injuries are always a problem also :(

It is completely random.

Beckham could play until 50 years old whilst Schole scould retire at 30 due to injury. You just never know mate.:)

its random in my Sparta game Owen ratired when he was 34 and in another game he was 37 and still going strong :)

Fowler retired at 28 on my Woking game in CM01/02. An injury. I spent a bit on him too, and got like 50% compensation. Disgusting.

The more frequently they are played and the better they play, the less likely they are to retire.
