Hi, y'all...

Sorry to post in this forum, but I haven't posted here for such a long time.

When I still used to play Fifa and was still that naive to hope that the Fifa series was going to get better, I used to waste some hours of my time in here to post some of my opinions about what improvements should be made in the next instalment of this game.

Nut now; not anymore, because I found This is football/World Tour Soccer 2003.

I never liked people from WE series coming in here to brag and promote that game, so I will understand where you're coming from if I'll be getting replies like, "Why don't you post in that forum," and so on.

So I promise I will only post this once in here about this game because it's awsome.

It's been out for like 3 months and i still play it with passion.
It is a bit scripted too, but not as much as Fifa and just a bit more than WE 6 International.

I would be lying if I said that I'm still not keeping an eye on the Fifa series, but I don't hope for much anymore.

While reading some of the messages here in this forum, I get a chuckle every time I see someone defending the Fifa series with so much passion.
But it's ok, it's just their opinion and I respect that because it's nice to hope. But with Fifa, you hope and hope and hope until there's nothing much to hope for.
In the end you'll just give up and move on.

The problem is that, even if there are a handfull of people converting to other soccer games, these people will soon be replaced with fresh not yet hurt by EA's promises to deliver kind of people.
I might be wrong, but this is what I've realized for the last few years.

So buy it or not, TIF/WTS 2003 delivers and you're missing out on a very good game.

PS: I own WE6 International too, but OMG that game sucks.
This game should be rated M, for mature, after seeing those goal celebrations, LMFAO.

Anyway thanks for reading and let's cross our fingers for a better Fifa in 200X.

Cheers.

I've played all 3 and TIF is horrible to play, I played less than FIFA, which is saying something..

i wished konami has released America and Europe's version of WE6: Final Evolution because it even beat the crap out of its predecessor.

TIF/WTS 2003 is decent. I just got it. I feel that the gameplay is too scripted, yet more polished than fifa 2003.

y wont damn konami co-operate with damn EA

licenses/graphics of EA + gameplay of Konami = possibly the best soccer game ever in the world.

they are different companies, its not going to happen, besides we need competition to keep both games trying to improve..

i love WTS...i also like WE6i...as for FIFA..well after last year they not only dissapointed me by saying it was going to be better than Konami series, which was far from the truth...and also the fact that i paid the same amount of money for Fifa2003 as the PC useres and yet i didn't get a CC or any sort of way to edit my game... that was totally a rip off...

i got WTS02 and 03 and most likely will get it next year...
even though it is scripted the people who create this game actually listen to people..they put in leagues that people have been wanting from Fifa and Konami...you can edit...i luv the way you can create your kits..i think Konami and EA should implement this...

also they have a career mode and transfer system(needs a little bit of work but its still ok)

players attributes vary and actually do affect the player on the field...(of course i hear EA will know have upp to 20 attributes..which is a good thing..finally)

even on the rest of the world teams they ACTUALLY have teams other than European in this section...they have teams from Australia,China,Africa,Middle East....

anyway i still hope the EA will get better abd wish them luck..but i will not be buying it especially if there is no way to edit FIFA
