Hi, y'all...
Sorry to post in this forum, but I haven't posted here for such a long time.
When I still used to play Fifa and was still that naive to hope that the Fifa series was going to get better, I used to waste some hours of my time in here to post some of my opinions about what improvements should be made in the next instalment of this game.
Nut now; not anymore, because I found This is football/World Tour Soccer 2003.
I never liked people from WE series coming in here to brag and promote that game, so I will understand where you're coming from if I'll be getting replies like, "Why don't you post in that forum," and so on.
So I promise I will only post this once in here about this game because it's awsome.
It's been out for like 3 months and i still play it with passion.
It is a bit scripted too, but not as much as Fifa and just a bit more than WE 6 International.
I would be lying if I said that I'm still not keeping an eye on the Fifa series, but I don't hope for much anymore.
While reading some of the messages here in this forum, I get a chuckle every time I see someone defending the Fifa series with so much passion.
But it's ok, it's just their opinion and I respect that because it's nice to hope. But with Fifa, you hope and hope and hope until there's nothing much to hope for.
In the end you'll just give up and move on.
The problem is that, even if there are a handfull of people converting to other soccer games, these people will soon be replaced with fresh not yet hurt by EA's promises to deliver kind of people.
I might be wrong, but this is what I've realized for the last few years.
So buy it or not, TIF/WTS 2003 delivers and you're missing out on a very good game.
PS: I own WE6 International too, but OMG that game sucks.
This game should be rated M, for mature, after seeing those goal celebrations, LMFAO.
Anyway thanks for reading and let's cross our fingers for a better Fifa in 200X.
Cheers.
