You know what my fellow FIFA fans, I think I might really enjoy FIFA 2004...after reading what Matt Holme, Euro Gamer, IGN and Gamespot have to say (especially Gamespot) and keeping in mind that these sources have played KCET football games AND on the high note FIFA 2004 is only 20 percent complete, they all seem to think it's impressive so far. I like it how Gamespot described the animations I think animations are important and Euro Gamer said that goals have to be earned, which is damn true as this is what FIFA fails in and all goals seem as if they were earned by easiness and no effort at all. :(

So, after reading what they had to say I believe we could actually like this game, I'm not sure how much we could like it but lets just wait and see. I actually have good feelings about this game especially the weather effects, no not graphically but how they ACTUALLY AFFECT the ball physics and the weather changing throughout a matchg is good stuff. :rockman: Bout' time in my opinion.

Like I keep saying I want more ways of fouling, as I believe that even though Gamespot said there was no referee and Matt told me that the fouling system hadn't being implemented I think we could finally get different fouling ways and EA seem to definitely be going for the simulation game this year after reading everything I can't really see any Arcade’ ness in this years game and I sure hope the videos look that way and the demo plays it.

Well, I think we might just want to put FIFA 2004 into our CD-drives this year!!!! :)

Thanks,

NK.

Yeah...I know Iceboy, it's just that with FIFA 2003 it felt like, well just a new game = better, but I was dissapointed. The chat with EA a couple of days ago left me un-impressed, but after reading about how it's only 20% complete and how it plays really well so far, I'm just taking the comments from these people and saying how it might actually be a FIFA game I want to play. :D

Actually Fifa 2003 wasn't bad. But it just wasn't as good as WE6fe in terms of graphics, animations and gameplay. They have a lot of teams and online play though.

True. Fifa 2003 was not a bad game. If there is no ISS,PES or WE ,we all will be saying how good fifa2003 is.

You will enjoy it for a month then you will be complaining it just like fifa 2003, fifa 2002, 2001.... wait till you play it and just like last year we will all notice the boring scripted gamplay.

fifa 2003 was better than 2002 but it was too buggy and the gameplay was too scripted.

I'm looking forward to it already. The anticipation is beginning for me about three months earlier than it did last year.

HAHAHA iiii see how fifa sells their games to certain people now. First of all they need to hype it up MANY months before they even know how the final product will be. The game will sound so good that by the time it comes out, everyone will be so curious about how it really is that they'll buy it no matter what. Konami should learn to advertise like EA. =( Then they would have the whole world hooked on konami soccer

TRUE! It's the same game over and over, EA say to change that...don't know if that's true but I'm gonna play the demo to death, I ain't fooling myself that it's good, so far though I think I might like it this time...then again I said same last year. :(

I`ll wait for some months after the release to see the feedback here, if it`s good I`ll buy it, if it`s not good then I won`t buy, simple as that.
