I've loaded the MLS league so that I can control the United States. However, when I click on "Add Manager" and then go to the USA, it doesn't give me the option to "Take Control." Anyone know why or is it a glitch? I've managed England and italy, so I know how to do it.

Not a glitch I dont think, maybe they are playing a Match at the moment.

Try the classic way.

Goto a club with an American player. click on the player, click on his nation and then it should work.

I might be because America are more of a minority team

Even though they are ranked 7th in the world

Simple. You will have to have the MLS league loaded so the player database is large enough (50 players plus) to manage a national team.

Not really you look at the last 3 world cups, they have been in at least the quarter finals for each one, there a kinda black horse, everyone disregards them because football or "soccer!" :rolleyes:

I think they have a big country (lots of mil ppl), and it's natural to be good enough, but, they are not good enough to be in the top 10 of world football. they ar good enough to be in the top 20......

Erm. Liam. I don't know where you get your sources of information from, but USA finished last at France 98. You know 32/32.

Alex, yes. They are overrated. I still find it hard to believe some people think USA are capable of winning the world cup in 2014. Infact, I find it laughable. :)

I add manager than take over Australia. Then I retire and try to use my first manager to take control of Australia. But there's no "take control" button when im on the Australia screen!

What to do?

I think USA could win the 2010 world cup. they should have made it to the finals of this year's. both sides of the usa/germany game agreed there were serveral favorable calls towards germany. i think people laugh cause soccer here isn't even a top 5 sport, but that's all changing. my generation will rectify this :rockman:

I also think Korea, Nigeria or Uruguay r going to win the 2010 world cup :p

You have to click "Apply for Job". That button should be in the place of the "Take Control" button, though.

Do note that the job has to be open. In the turn you quit as manager, the job will not be free yet. Press "Continue" once and it should be there.

Exactly, you have to apply for a job to be able to get it with an existing manager. The only way to get it instantly is to add another manager.
