How and where do you download stuff to on FIFA 99.net? On the few places where there are instructions, the file it tells me to download to is not on my computer.
I would be really gratefull if you could help me out, and to reply please e-mail me at:

First get your self a "getRight" downloud program somewhere from Warez.com.
Then you have to double click on the file that you want to downloud. It will ask you where you want file to go in your computer.
Without GetRight program you can do right click with your mouse on the file and repeate same procedure as above. There are some great other fifa99 sites with loot's of stuff to downloud. "FIFA 99 Dome", "FIFA 99 Online" etc. If you need any more help ask again on the forum.

Thanks, but once you have downloaded them, and they are a zip file, where do you unzip them to?

before you can download anything, you need to make sure you did a custom install of the game. It is about 400mb complete. you will have all the files available, the music files, the data folder which contains the jerseys, ect...
once you installed the game completely, the two main folders you will place downloaded files into are the DATA folder and the USER folder.
The jerseys go into the Data/player/textures folder. keep in mind, that there are 50 player jerseys (PK001.fsh-PK050.fsh. With fed99, you can assign up to 64 jerseys, just simply change the new jerseys name to pk051.fsh and assign it to the correct team. jerseys 51-64 cannot be assigned to a team during the game, you need fed99. If you change the jersey while fifa99 is playing you will lose that file unitl you go back to fed99 and assign the jersey again (are you with me?)
Adboards and staduims and balls go into this address C:\EA SPORTS\FIFA 99\data\enviro.
Always remember that you will be replacing original files so it is a good idea to always backup your files.
hope this is helpful...
