I think I have possibly the luckiest promotion tale ever. In division 2.5 in England there is a team called Timaloys who took it by storm. They won 10 games in a row.

My team, AFC Muse, had an extremely slow start, with a single win, a draw and one loss. Obviously Timaloys had 3 wins by now. I started winning a few games after that but Timaloys weren't giving up! They had won all their games too. But on the 11th game of the season, they lost. On the 12th game, they lost again. By now, I was on a seven-game winning streak. This is how the table stood after 12 games:

Who do I have next in the league...? Timaloys! And the last game? The team at the foot of the table! Now promotion seems quite likely all of a sudden... :D

RESULT! after todays game,I beat Timaloys 3-2 :D and now I'm at the top of the table by 1 point. Its looking good. (H)

Good luck, I might play you next season! It'll be good to face some competitive teams, I'm 17 points clear after winning all my games. Great record maybe, but your season sounds far more exciting, like my season 6. Just don't slip up! ;)

It seems that within the next few seasons, the division 1 leagues may become nearly as strong as the Premier League. A lot of the teams are strong now, imagine in a few seasons time!

How many Division 1 Series are there? 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 isnt it? So it seems like theres quite a good chance we'll all be the same... if we all get promoted that is, lol.. its gonna be tough next season...

I used to live there when I signed up back in late July / early August last year. I lived there all my life. But late August last year I moved to Braintree.

La Citta di Chelmsford is Italian for Chelmsford City, made to sound like teams such as Citta di Palermo. I just did that when I first took over, never thought of a better team name, so I left it how it is.

Cool :) I'd lived in Chelmsford until 3 years ago when I moved to Springfield... nice place. I know its a long shot, but do you know someone else in Braintree called Alex Wilcox?

The name doesn't ring any bells, sorry. :)

I was thinking that, Ash. Dundlebugs are a good side, but then six of the Premier League's eight are, and one has to go down. I'd hate to be in the same league as Dundlebugs and Egg Chasers.

They might. Depends on results today, but it looks more likely they'll survive, as they have points in the bag.

They used to be in the same division as me, when he was Bocha Locha FC... hehe.:)

He hasn't won a game in the league since Round 7 so he's been dragged down into possible relegation.

I hope he wins next week though, either that or Dundlebugs win today... I need Swish to lose one of these! :)

Who do you have after Tilbury today?

Cardiff Vipers. Last time we played I won 8-0 but since then I gave him some tactical advice (he was playing Steve and I wanted him to win) so I expect it to be alot closer this time. I play him tomorrow in a couple of friendly games so we'll see how it goes.

I hope you do it, not because I don't like AFC Swish, but you're the underdogs, and with QPR FC going into the PL along with Swish, you probably won't be able to win it next season.

Heh, would you believe it... I've been watching Reservoir Dogs on Channel 4, would've thought the games would've finished by now. So I went to check... scores are... FC Mount wins 6-2, AFC Swish loses 4-3.

FC Mount top, point clear, with Cardiff Vipers last. Swish has Edinburgh Knight, whose loss today sends them equal on points with Dundlebugs FC. Only goal difference keeps them out of the relegation zone, and they'll need a win now to be sure in case Dundlebugs beat Canterbury.

So an interesting finale next Sunday, and FC Mount has a great chance to take the title. I bet even Ash never saw that coming! Go win it! ;)

Anyway, I'm going to watch the end of the film now! :D

i won 4-0 promotion now as i have such better goal difference i can't see my self losin 15-0 and him winning 1 5-0 :)

I know the English Premier League winner gets 70 000 GBP, so you'd get the equivalent to this. I'll get 60 000 GBP for winning my league. :D

Shark, nothing will happen until the third Saturday, when you coaches will be sacked and youths shut down unless you put the funding back in again. Players are sold the week after. If they're sold, it should be enough to keep you fomr losing your team the next week.

Well I thought everything was going well when I beat Cardiff Vipers twice today... but then I found out he used his youths both times. Normally when I play him he uses his A team at least once... he only did this because I'm playing him for real on Sunday. :(

I have confidence Ash, and you can thanks Alex for giving you the chance :) now you only have to win.
