I'm pretty useless when it comes to designing kits, but I'm ok at converting a 1st generation kits to second generation. So give me a picture of a 1gk kit mesh thing and I'll convert it to 2gk. If you want you can give me a texture to base it on but if you don't I'll use the template7 from Fede's HEAVY texture pack. I can send it to your email address when it's done. If there's alot of demand from you lot I'll try and work through the list it's about 1 a night so bear with me :). Here's a preview of my work using template7. It's a kit of mine I used for my Creation Centre team.

You should use antialias on logos ... And the logos of the shorts are too big... The lines on the shorts don't have antialias... ;)

I dont think there would be much need for this type of service, simply because kit makers like converting their own kits, and if someone else needs it done, they should go to the kit maker ;)
