someone from a psm2 magazine had some correspondence with pesinsight.com and this is one of the many things said

"They key issue is that Konami don't want PES3 to be confused with WE7, and thus won't provide official support for the Japanese version (no screenshots, videos etc). In fairness, the UK version will have key differences, and Konami don't want to confuse people, especially those with only a casual interest in the series - folk who can barely tell the difference between ISS/PES/FIFA."

I wonder if it's just things like teams and leagues. I haven't heard any mention of WE7 being released in the USA yet which means it'll probably be the same deal as last time. We'll either have to import WE7 (and patch it to English) or import PES3 and patch it to NTSC or wait until 6 months after everybody else on the off-chance they bless us with WE7/PES3 over here!

Does anybody know how well WE6:I has sold in the States?

Well, I hope it doesn't mean they'll make PES3 faster than WE7 in the mistaken belief that the western market prefer pinball style football.

I remember they proudly announced that PES2 would be even faster than WE6....unfortuantely, they followed through with that promise :(
