FIFA 2004 definately needs to have more emphasis on Brasil than in the previous editions...
It needs better Rosters for the national team, it needs the PROPER attributes for the Brazilian players (some guys on the selecao are 79?!?).
More Brazilain teams!
And more respects for the masters of the sport in general, I mean Roy Keane cannot dribble the same as Ronaldo. So Im glad to hear their improving attributes...
Also a Brazilian championship, since its the longest and most complicated of all the leagues...itd be fun to play em!

but what isnt biased is having the GREAT PLAYERS OF ALL TIME included in this game much like the NBA LIVE series has.

Id love to play with PELE and blow by maradona proving once for all whos best! you know...stuff like that.

Also Id like to see senarios! Give a senario where you're down 0-2 and you have to come back and win in a single half stuff like that....

Also like the FIFA soccer on the 3DO (yes I had one) show clips of REAL World Cup matches, and other competitions in the game...

Gameplay needs so many improvements, EA already knows about it Im sure.

More cups, and trophies to acquire. Secrets (more stadiums, players) that can be unlocked by doing something extremely dificult.

And just make Ronaldo better in the game...

I think Big Ronnie is tops at the game and its true they should spent time working on players that are world class as you say the Brazil team but also many of the Real Madrid team members such as ZZ Robbie C RAUL and MR Figo i think teams like Real Madrid and AC milan should be better than teams like Chelsea and Liverpool (no direspect to Chelsea or Liverpool) i mean take this for example i was playing fifa 03 with my Mate (No taking the piss here!!:kader: ) i was Real Madrid and he was erm he was Aston Villa he beat me 1-0 not that im rubbish he's good because we are usually evenley matched but that should be changed. Real Madrid are a world class team and Aston Villa are EPL relegation struggelers that should be the same in FIFA 04!! Come EA READ THIS!!

they're working on it. What was it? 31 attributes a player? That's a lot to make the differences between clubs more realistic I guess. Let's hope they hire good scouts this time :) Take the ones from Eidos Interactive, they always do a marvelous job. Or just copy the stats from CM4, easy as that and nobody would complain (except for Eidos maybe, or Sigames :) )

BTW, totally agreed on the Brasil thing! They didn't win the World Cup with players that are only a 7 out of 10! Each of them are at least an 8 and most of them a 9 and a 10 if you ask me.

if you make players in popular teams ridiculously good, then no one would play with the less favourable teams.

If the gameplay is as easy as it was this year, wat3rf0x, I would love to play with the less favourable teams. But the problem is, they make way too many teams very good, so the differences between Real Madrid and Anderlecht are way too small. I could beat Real 5-0 with Anderlecht before I messed around with the gameplay a bit. The only thing you really feel is that they miss more shots, are slower sometimes, but their dribbling is as good as Ronaldo's. But I've heard they're changing that too so, keep up the good work on this one EA!

Id like to play in the 1970 world cup finals, when its 1-1 at half time, but I have to win 4-1 and score with the right players, in a similar fashion (i.e. Pele's header).

improve the crappy passing, I hate it when I send the ball to my player, and the ball bounces off the back of his leg! or he simply doesnt grab a pass because 1. he's the midfielder 2. the cursor isnt ON him and 4. because hes too stupid to figure out it was such a good pass!

Commentators should talk for longer lengths about certain issues. They can ignore certain things and focus on the big picture, not every pass has to be mentioned, if you have an injury or a red card that is affecting the team.

Also (on behalf of my roomate) give the US some credit. Just cuz theyre in the mls doesnt mean that theyre automatically slow! Or a bad player at that, NOT NECESSARILY, I understand in some (if not most) cases i.e. Brian McBride is a solid American player, he showed it in England.

Also give out awards at the end of the season! like player of the year, golden boot, stuff like that. That encourages a lot when you play a multi-user season!

all the stats on the game are poor, and are not shown on the pitch..... period

well I do think that a player should be judged in the toughest competition. Even though Henry can perform wonders in England, he didnt at the world cup, that should say something about his "world class" talent. I think he's world class for sure, but if he keeps coming up short on big competitions like that, than yea, Id say lower his attributes. You can compete well in only one place.


Another thing FIFA could have is training! training on the pitch with tactical ideas from the coach(you). Design a play and then practice it in practice!
