Group 8 Standings
1.Bulgaria..........10 pts, +5 gd
2.Croatia...........7 pts, +4 gd
3.Belgium...........6 pts, -4 gd
4.Estonia...........5 pts, +1 gd
5.Andorra.............0 pts, -6 gd
"As Bulgaria try to maintain their unbeaten record at the top of Group 8, they have been hit with the news that defender Zlatomir Zagorcic could become the eighth first-team regular to be forced out of Plamen Markov's squad. Todor Yanchev has already been called up to replace the injured Gueorgui Peev for the games against Belgium and Andorra, but the coach may now have to replace Serbian-born Zagorcic who is suffering from a thigh injury."
This is a very important game. Belgium need to win to keep their hopes of qualifying, a draw would not do them much good. With a win Bulgaria could be in excellent position to win the group. However, we have EIGHT missing players due to injury, suspension and retirement. It's going to be a tough game, Belgium will want revenge for that 0-2 defeat in Brussels, but I still think we can win this game. Considering the circumstances, a draw wouldn't be a bad result either.
