it's really stupid, everyone always wants one and then they either don't participate at all, or submit a 2-minute effort....

I have an idea. We could have a competition to design a template for a (fictional) web site. No coding, just the template design on a 800x600 image. You can submit as many as you like.
The theme of the page should be: Funky, Fresh, Summer...that kinda theme

To make it even more interesting the members who want to join this competition would have to put their name down (so we get a good view of who's participating) and then we could have something like 1st round, winners of each match go through to round 2, then quarter finals, then semi finals and then the final were the 2 best templates battle it out for votes (if we have enough people willing to join that is).

What do you think?

like....people could just import a bunch of manga pics and make a dragonballZ game or something..so there should be a limit i feel.

Oh, right. Well I dont think there should be any limit. Coz if you're gonna stick a whole bunch of DBZ pics onto a background it will look cheap and cheesy anyway so you have to choose your selection wisely:D
