it was a so so call....but the turkey defender should of just kicked the ball away when he had about 3 seconds to do so....he just stood their....and Songs kick wasnt as bad as you make it ......the ball was in the area....

I saw this position in WC 2002 , Turkey-Brazil game's 90th minutes Alpay and Luizao.

It was a very unlucky match for us.Neither teams deserved to win but I think Turkey played slightly better than cameroon.cameroon was very lucky to get that penalty.anywayz we're gonna beat brazil this time

The first tactic is outside the penalty zone nad referee let the game play on, but for the second tactic , it is inside the zone and referee give a penalty
Referee make a great job in this match, no big mistake made by him

IMO that call was BS, but very close and hard to tell if u were behind it all, it looked like the first foul the defender tried tripping song which got him to stumbling way outside the box, but then while rolling over it seemed like the defender almost grabbed his :drevil:Ballz:drevil: and he tumbled over, IMO it was slightly outside the box, but the ref would have to have been standing infront of the :drevil:action:drevil: to make a good call :mrpimp: ... also Hakan FB, Lazio Eagle wasn't dissing Turkey but he was defending it to Namek 14's comment, so next time don't go around talking all that trash, read the hold thread b4, u won't look so stupid next time

sometimes refs make mistakes... specially when is something so questionable as this call... you guys sometimes forget that refs have 5 seconds and only 1 angle to make a decision, and they dont see 20 replays, in slow mo from 20 different angles...

well its the tukish defenders fault regardless......he just stood there as the ball was rolling.....he could of easily just kicked it out or just kicked it somewhere but it look like he froze for some reason and ended up kinda tripping him....oh well brakes of the game ive come to learn
