I am playing cm3 for quite a long time now, and I got to season 10. All the greatest players from 98/99 are old and retired or have a management job. Now I have a big selection of players, and most of them carry the names of those who are retired. Think of Ziege, Kahn, Shearer, Seaman, Andersson, etc. Is there anyone out there who can tell me if there's a connection between the new players and the old ones?

I`m only through my 2nd season now, so I was wondering , what will happen , when all retire.
So - here is the answer - new young players are created , and given a name, which is constructed of randomly chosen name and second name of the real-life players. I think , it`s so. BTW , did you ever pay attention to east-european players- most of them were in grey at the beginning of the game , and these are players, that don`t exist in real life. But they all have first and second names of the real players. BTW what does that mean, that I cannot sign a player , which is grey, even if he`s in my team?
