I have not been playing the game long, but prefer to manage a lower division team and bring them through the ranks rather than managing established teams as It is a greater challenge and more must be dealt with in many aspects of the game, such as building a good squad while dealing with very limited funds and things like that. I am currently in my third season in charge of Plymouth and lying second in the second division with three games left to play. I would be interested to know if anyone else plays using lower league teams, and if so which ones. :mrpimp:

In the two or three CM games that Ive played in CM01-02, I usually get my reputation right up, by taking a good (but not super team), such as Leeds, Parma etc to the top of the world, and then after a while, I go back and try and bring a team up from the bottom..

I haven't been on much in the past few days, and haven't gone to any soccer sites recently, that's why I didn't know :S so sad, he was becoming a fan favourite at Maine Road too :nape: :(

The Foe thing was pretty sad. Pretty freaky when that happens to someone with that fitness level.

Ouch! If you are short on goals and money , buy Joao Pavia. He's free and has scored a lot of goals for my Plymouth team. :)

Joao Paiva, now theres a name that hurts! He was the first signing of the game (Everyone was saying how great he was). 221 goals in 339 games. And that with one season blitzed by injury! 41 goals in his first season...he's an amazing striker!
