I'm FULLY against a SS Thread..its just a CHEAP way to post boost.Well I am against any SS(Of kitmaking too)..as it just increases post count of SS Taker.You see every SS Taker's post count is in 1000's.Sr needs to be mention here that he has got 5000 posts and more than half of which came in posting SS.There are so many others example.Also you can see Rabsy posting SS everywhere and askin everywhere for rating his pics?Is this all right?I think after DRC theres TOTALLY no need of any type of SS.

It's completely true.
I don't want any SS Maker to take screenshots for me because they just spam the threads all over with screenshots, and that makes no sense. That's why DRC has been created, don't you think? It shows how the kit will look and you don't need 10000 screenshots per kits.

Just look at some of the Screenshots maker post count! it's as higher as the post count of some of the ppl that have been here for a LONG time. I think that's plain postboosting, and it's unfair.

It's ok if the kit maker, ball maker, face maker, or any other maker asks for screenshots, but making screenshots just to show how good my graphic card is, makes no sense.

I agree with you Saurabh, too many threads have been made recently and the forum has been swapped by ss, and even with my 1Mbit connection it takes frigging ages to load up. Also I don't really think there's any need for more than a couple of ss takers at the most, which is why I've given up ss taking and instead use my time for something else (drinking:p). I think possibly the ss taker who has been asked or given permission by the editor should do DRC screens and a couple of ingame ss and post them only within the thread the editor created for the kit/ball etc...instead of having threads that don't serve a purpose like Rabsy's thread.

BTW no offence taken...:).

Again, I only make ss and post them in the makers thread kits,balls whatever but I NEVER made a Silencer's ss thread cause what's the purpose of that?

Hey Silencer I posted the SAME as in the closed thread, I can't see why now you take it as a personal offence and before you didn't..
BTW I've already said that there are too many ppl trying to become Silencer 2, it's nothing personal but you have to admit that every Screenshot Maker has a HIGH post count, and that's plain post boost. how come ppl like Alex (HAWK), you, Rabsy or any other screenshot maker have such a HIGH post count? and if you look at the average of posts per day is scaring, I mean.. they've something like 5 posts per day as AVERAGE.... means that they post like 15 times a day!...

I reckon that it should be at the discretion of the person who started the thread whether or not screenshots can be taken. Whatever way, most people make 2GK kits and show them off, which is still much for modem users to download without including screenshots anyway.

At the same time it should be that the only people taking screenshots of their kits are those whom the kitmaker has granted permission... I say that because I have only let Martijn, Hawk and Ewan take screenies of my kits but not people like Rabsy who gave me abuse just because I pulled him up about it.

But now I think all editors will grow up and leave all this SS thing which is being created by all of US.This whole system really needs to be changed.Also these SS threads should completely baned.

for me the point of sending ss is because of protest to EA... a card that can produce such a good graphic is not supported by EA.... that's pretty frustrating mate....i post ss so people can see how is EA managements on releasing a game.....i hope u understand mate...;)

Screen shot threads are quite annoying, especially on slow connections.

I feel the screenshots should be concentrated to certain threads to show off patches and kits, etc and not just to show off graphics cards.

Well, I think that faces, balls, kits, popups and all those things we've managed to edit DO change the game, those things improve the game significantly, overall when you put all those things together, work hard and voila! you've a superb patch! such as the World League by SOCCERACCESS, or the UEFA Champions League by the FIFA ECP guys...don't you think? but a screenshot.. hmm... do the screenshots change the game in any way? I don't think so :)

I see where you guys are coming from, Rasby has posted 375 times in his thread and nobody rates them. Theres no point posted 10ss of one kit aswell because you can see the kit in full in a couple of ss. I havent posted ss in ages(i think) and probably wont in the near future cos i hardly play fifa and im basically to lazy to make them.

What about a SS Forum where the posts doesn't count,anyone can have a thread and Kitmakers also have a thread for pics of their kits!

and yeah making kits etc is helping, but u dont need to post every single image of a kit about 3 times (1 the main image, 1 ingame, 1 some other random view) but you can post links to the images, not have a image per post (i know ur only allow 1 image on most posts) but u can make a .html showing ur work.

The point is u have spams lots of images to get ur leet high postcount which u care so much about.

Thank God this thread is reopened, OK here`s what I think : I know how does it feel to find a whole bunch of screenie when I try to look for kits, for example, when I was browsing around JJ`s kits to see how the Man U pants really look like so I can make it, it took me an hour to look for it. So I guess kitmakers or anyone who wants his work got a screenshot, must apply this rule :
1. Only 5 screenshots / work
2. Editors can only ask for one man to take their works screenie ( so it will prevent multiple screenshots on the same work like in JJ`s kits thread )

That`s just an idea tough . . . :)

I am in the other hand , totally against ss threads. Most patch makers have their own sites, they can show the ss on their site.
But a solution for this "problem" is simple, make a forum specially for
ss. That way people who like seeing ss can, and people like me

i think you should be able to have screenshots threads but having pages and pages of acreenshots is a bit much, and when people post ingame screens of faces and kits etc there's no need to post more than 5 any more than that is unecessary.
