Hi,

I used to own a PS2 but don't anymore (long story). I had PES2 for the PS2 and loved it to bits. I now miss it like hell :(

I have ePSXe and a good PC. Is it worth forking out for the PS1 version of PES2?

Are there many patches available for it?

Cheers.

There is obviously a big graphical difference (although not as great between the ePSXe version and the PS2 version as there is between the PS1 and PS2 as you can really boost the resolution in ePSXe. Also there are some good patches to provide new leagues, authentic unifroms, etc.

The playability on the PS1 version is near identical to the PS2 version and many people actually prefer WE2002 to PES2.

Definitely worth getting. If you go to my site there's a place where you can get the game dirt cheap. Also there's a bunch of resources and a growing community for the ePSXe Konami game players.

Thanks bud. I appreciate the support. As yet I haven't seen a patch to put names on players backs but there are a lot of uniform patches under development that I'm aware of in the Italian community hwere many of these utilities and patches seem to come from. I'm looking to upload a lot more league patches at the weekend for followers of other leagues around the world.

you didn't need to download the BIN file. You could have made it from your original game CD, which I'm sure you must have otherwise you wouldn't be attempting to play the game. Right?

so anyway,
put the BIN file somewhere you can remember then start ePSXe and select run ISO - then select the BIN file and off you go,

If u don't have original cd u can't use epsx or at least don't shout loud about it.
If u understand me.

i use clonecd to rip the cd image file from my Playstation games so they run on ePSXe. I'm sure other people have their own favourites.

i already explained how to run a bin or any other cd image file from ePSXe, but if you don't have the game CD then its illegal. As is running ePSXe if you don't own a Playstation. Just so you know.

Your configuration settings are probably wrong. Check with the setting up ePSXe section at
