All these players that you listed above are famous and well-known.
George Best was the best but because he played for northern ireland he wasn't as well-known.
Btw He is not an alcoholic anymore!

I have seen Best boy play and he wasn't in the same class as the greats - good, won a European Cup, but not a true great. United's all time best players are an alcoholic and a frenchman who kicked a fan in the head...I guess all geniuses are a little messed up. Oh yeah, and Denis Law was pretty damn good too - I actually liked that guy.

OK I admit that Pele and Maradonna were great!
But Best certainly MUST rank among them.
He had skill pace...everything.
And what I meant by saying that is was good cpz he playedd for a less know nation,well that is not what I meant.
What I meant was that Pele,Maradonna and the rest all had played in World cups or european cups.George Best never did that coz he played for northern ireland(and they never qualified for these sort of events)
That is what I meant.

Pele is the King. Pele is the best. Any doubters should simply look at what he has accomplished in the past for Santos and Brasil, and then look at what he still can accomplish as an ambassador to the game.

Well, Maradona won the Serie A with a bunch of no names, why couldn't Best carry a bunch of no names to the WC? Pele could have brought NI to a WC.

And I say Northern Ireland is a sh*tty nation because it has sucked, always will suck, and has only produced one player of International quality.

I never said that Zoff and Baresi were the best in the world ,well for Zoff's case i think he is the best goalkeeper of all time ,but let me mind you that this is my opinion .
