Ebonix 02-07-2003, 04:36:AM I've already got a cheap Swiss international keeper and an amazing DM/FC from portugal but I need more players.
I'm Cardiff on CM01-02 in Div 2
I canne think of anyone :(
Breach 02-07-2003, 10:26:AM Gotta go with my all time favourites: Jamie Victory (nomen est omen!) and Mike Duff from Cheltenham.

Ahh the old Cheltenham 2
I might go for them, keep the Gloucestershire link going with some players (H)
Breach 02-07-2003, 04:42:PM Gloucestershire..? I've never even heard about that one. got some hot tip you wanna share?
Ebonix 02-07-2003, 05:30:PM No no, its just the county that Cheltenham is based in, I live in Gloucester also in Gloucestershire. :)
The Kop Kid 02-07-2003, 06:03:PM 1.) Marek Szmid- Free- plays well in the centre mid position. Passing and Creativity 20 after about twelve months.
2.) Jordi Prats- $2000-plays well in either right attacking mid or right wing. Has speed 20, dribbling 20, acceleration 20 after about twelve months.
3.) Michel Pavon-Bosman(free)-defensive midfielder, not too bad all round: influence, positioning, decisions, teamwork, workrate 18-20
Hope that helps. :mrpimp:
Ebonix 02-07-2003, 06:05:PM Hopefully it should, my mind has just gone blank for CM players, I used too be able to buy loads for nothing :S
The Kop Kid 02-07-2003, 06:22:PM Also try Andres Bressan if you can gte around the work permit. :mrpimp:

I tend too spend more time on 01-02
i play far more on CM01/02.
Liam, try some of the Milwall players, Tim Cahill is decent and Steven Reid (if you can afford him) is great. Richard Sadlier is useful if you're going to be crossing the ball.

The Kop Kid 06-07-2003, 06:12:AM Also, have a look also at some of the Swedish teams such as Halmstad. They have some very good cheap players, though coaxing them to come and play for you can be difficult. :)
Ebonix 06-07-2003, 03:58:PM Tanks allot guys :)
yah, how the hell did i forget Halmstad!

monkeyhappy 12-07-2003, 12:39:AM zackrecki - polish dmr - very young - not bad for age!!!
The Kop Kid 12-07-2003, 04:37:PM Liam, who is your DM/FC from Portugal? Have a look at Helder Rosario (defender). Free, and he improves very quickly. Capped at under 21 level within 6 months for me for Portugal and pretty good numbers all round.

He was the portugese researcher and he managed to sneak himself into the game as a very promising young Portugese player

lol. Thanks, praise from the negative plain is always welcome. I'm still really new to championship manager as this is only my second game after the first died ( I also played 1 brief game on CM4) but it's rapidly taking over my life. CM4 was o.k, but CM 01/02 is amazing. I am totally hooked and may need psychiatric help if I lose another saved game. :crazyboy:
