If I can make one suggestion, could the points somehow increase toward the later rounds? It doesn't make sense for these qualifying rounds to have the same weight as say, the semi-finals or 2nd group stages....anyways,

OK, that is a good point. How about this? In the Round of 16, I will multiply all the points by 1.25.

Quarter Finals - 1.5
Semi Finals - 1.75
Final - 2.0

This means that points will have "." in them. For example, SilverBoots may have 171.5 points at one point.

What does everybody else think? Should I leave it the way it is or change it into this new format?

i think he thinks its more important rather than difficult.

Well, the final could be difficult too, but yes I mainly mean "important." It also gives other people a chance to score big in the final running of the tournament. I think that this new format makes much more sense and will be better off for the league.

I got it straight from UEFA, I think (if I can remember correctly.)

Oh well, at least it ended in a draw. That way I don't have to worry about Home/Away points, because draw points are the same no matter if home or away.
